A Biologist's Point of View

Hi, I’m Anna, a biologist, educator, and sensory play enthusiast! After years of studying and teaching the wonders of Appalachian biology, I wanted to bring that same sense of curiosity and discovery into children’s play. That’s how my sensory kits were born, in Boone NC. Each one designed to spark hands-on learning through texture, color, and imagination.

My background in science helps me infuse every kit with real educational value. Whether it’s exploring colors and textures, discovering nature themes, or experimenting like a “little scientist.” I believe that play is the first step toward scientific thinking, and sensory exploration is how kids learn best!

All of my materials are thoughtfully chosen, safe, and often inspired by nature and the lab alike. Every kit is handmade with care from my home workspace, where science meets creativity.
